Designed by Teodoro Anasagasti, the Monumental Theatre, or locally called Teatro Monumental was built between 1922 - 1923 as a movie theatre. The building is now a concert hall showcasing some of the best symphonic concerts. Besides the popular live concert shows, Teatro Monumental is also the concert venue for the grand RTVE Symphony Orchestra.
